Review clinical documents and understand presenting condition, diagnosis, and treatment plan • Interpret patient s condition from vital signs, lab readings, and medications prescribed • Determine the treatment needs of the patient and correlate if the Nursing home has ability to serve the requirement • Make admission decision and communicate what is required to get the patient admitted to the nursing home
Communicate through email and short messages to the appropriate client contacts • Document patient information and notes in the EHR (Electronic Health Record) system • Understand the services and infrastructure of each nursing homes • Handle priority requests swiftly and provide quick and accurate decisions • Effectively manage time to handle multiple reviews and handle documentation requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS • B.Sc/M.Sc Nursing (Min aggregate of 60%) • 1-3 years of experience in hospital setting
Clinical Nursing care knowledge: o Medical terminologies, medical abbreviations, diseases, and treatments o Knowledge of common medications, their uses, and potential side effects o Ability to interpret lab results and diagnostic tests o Ability to correlate the patient s condition with vital signs o Basic knowledge on polysubstance (drugs) abuse o Knowledge on various mental illnesses • Communication and Language: o Good reading comprehension of medical documents o Strong written communication – Ability to summarize patient s medical records o Good verbal communication
Knowledge in Healthcare documentation: o Understand general medical reports documented for patients o Experience in documenting patient s status o Understand patient confidentiality, data privacy, and ethical practices in patient care o Knowledge on Medico-legal issues and its importance
