Job Description
Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Labourer to join our Electric Motor and Controller Department. The ideal candidate will support the production, maintenance, and testing of electric motors and their controllers. This role requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities: • Assembly and Installation • Assist in the assembly and installation of electric motors and controllers. • Follow technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions. • Use hand tools and power tools to assemble components. Maintenance and Repair: • Perform routine maintenance on electric motors and controllers. • Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues. • Replace or repair defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques. Testing and Quality Control: • Conduct tests on motors and controllers to ensure they meet performance standards. • Use testing equipment to measure voltage, current, resistance, a
Inventory and Supply Management: • Assist in managing inventory of parts, tools, and supplies. • Ensure that all necessary materials are available for production and maintenance tasks. • Report any shortages or issues with inventory to the supervisor. Safety and Compliance: • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines. • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent technical training or certification in electrical or mechanical fields preferred. Experience: Previous experience in a similar role involving electric motors and controllers is a plus. Skills: • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles. • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
